More Than A Logo

When you look at our logo, you may not realize it, but there is actually some meaning behind it.

The MCiS is obliviously Midwest Crop Insurance Solutions’ initials. It’s more than that, though. The reason the “i” is lower case is because insurance isn’t the primary reason Midwest Crop Insurance exists. Honestly, while it is the primary thing we do, it is a small part of our why. We created Midwest Crop Insurance Solutions (originally Midwest Ag Solutions) to connect with farmers while raising money to support organizations that existed to help people. We want to help people.

There are a couple other parts of the logo with symbolic meaning. The green dot in the “i” is about green crops. The swoop represents the safety net we offer with a variety of Crop Insurance products. No one has been able to get rich from the ethical use of insurance, but many people have been able to offset losses during hard times. A well placed safety net allows people to care for their families and protect their business during the tough times. The hope is your insurance choices keep you from having to fall too far during hard times.

While our logo really isn’t that deep in meaning, you now know how it represents who we are and a little more about why Midwest Crop Insurance Solutions exists.
